Pawley's Island and Camping in Huntington Park

Mark, Risa, Noel & I rode bikes and walked 6 miles to the Jettie one morning.

The Jettie!

This bike trail was beautiful! While riding it we saw a deer with her fawn, a baby alligator, an alligator crossing, raccoons, and bunnies!

The HUGE, gorgeous tree on our campsite!

There were alligators everywhere!

The creature we named a Feeroyte - Mix between a Fox, Deer, & Coyote!
Taking a break on the jettie.

Lexy: "What is this? You mean these things are alive!" She was shocked to see Risa's smaller pets, Amos & Andy.

Atalaya

The End - the tour is over!
Atalaya is the spanish term for "watchtower". The construction of the Huntington's home forms a square with this watchtower in the center.

Standing in one of the castiron windows!

The Huntington's house was built in the
1930's and consisted of 30 rooms
for the Huntington family and staff.
